Matt focuses on representation for sellers, buyers, tenants and landlords in all aspects of commercial real estate in Southern Illinois, including office, retail, industrial, land, multifamily and investment properties. Over the 12+ years in commercial real estate, he has leveraged the experience gained during his prior position as a route sales associate, through which he became acquainted with a wide array of customers and gained an appreciation for individual client needs and wants.
Born and raised in Southern Illinois, Matt has an intimate understanding of the market in which he operates.
Always driven by a desire deliver the utmost satisfaction, Matt prides himself with creating long-term relationships with his clients, truly listening to them, and providing them with the most comprehensive and professional real estate services to achieve success in their commercial real estate endeavors. He is also an Illinois licensed and approved fee negotiator, providing land acquisition services for both private and public entities throughout Southern Illinois.
Matt recently represented United Refrigeration in the lease of a 20,000-square-foot relocation to Collinsville, Ill. He sold a 15-acre tract of land in Edwardsville for a new student housing development serving Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). Matt also worked on two Right-of-Way acquisitions for the Southwestern Illinois Flood Prevention District Council as part of the critical levee improvement project it is overseeing along the Mississippi River from Columbia, Ill. to Alton, Ill.
He currently serves as vice chairman of the Economic and Development Committee for the Belleville Chamber of Commerce, while also contributing his time on various sub-committees on a case-by-case basis.
He and his wife Erin reside with their six-year-old twins Max and Vivian in Millstadt, Ill.
