Land Sales & Acquisition

BARBERMURPHY’s team of professionals is experienced in all areas of land sales and acquisitions. Our team recognizes how the various aspects of a site can impact value (location, topography, user needs, governmental rules and regulations, utility placement, etc.), and we work closely with our clients to determine the best value for their specific needs.

BARBERMURPHY maintains current data on land prices throughout our market area. We monitor pricing on properties both currently on the market and those that have recently sold, giving us the ability to place our clients competitively in the market. Our relationship with local government agencies allows us to better assist clients with governmental rules and processes that impact land use and valuation (zoning, flood mapping, permits, inspections, etc.).

BARBERMURPHY understands the different types of incentives that may be available in a given area and how they may be utilized to achieve client goals with respect to buying or selling their properties. Such incentives include Tax Increment Financing (TIF), Enterprise Zone Assistance, Business Development Districts, Sales Tax Reimbursement Programs and Special Area Districts.
