Carter joins BARBERMURPHY after receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri, studying Finance and Real Estate. Through his involvement in Mizzou’s investment club, mentorship from professors, and multiple internships, Carter was drawn to a career in commercial real estate.
Immediately following graduation, Carter began his career in commercial real estate with a firm in St. Louis, assisting their capital markets & investment sales group with financial analysis, primarily in the multifamily sector. With an ambitious curiosity, his education on the various asset classes and intricacies of the industry is ongoing.
Carter enjoys applying his degree by performing financial modeling and underwriting investment opportunities. While he is capable within a spreadsheet, Carter is very much in the relationship business.
Carter is proud to be part of the Glen Carbon/Edwardsville community and is excited to be servicing the people of Madison County.
Carter is licensed in both Illinois and Missouri.
In his free time, Carter enjoys skiing, playing golf, basketball, and good BBQ.
