Todd Thoman, Managing Broker with BarberMurphy

 Todd Thoman joined Barber Murphy in 2025 as a Managing Broker specializing in industrial real estate dispositions and acquisitions throughout central and southern Illinois.  Having began his career in Economic Development nearly 40 years ago, then coupling that with 26 years as the Director of Business Development for Industrial Developer Agracel, Inc, Todd understands how to successfully market industrial real estate properties as well as establish solid working relationships with communities and manufacturers alike. 

During his tenure as the Director of Business Development for Agracel, Inc. Todd was also the Manager/Broker for Enterprise Realty, LLC.  Coming to Agracel, Inc. with economic development experience, Todd became the frontrunner for the development and improvement of relationships with new clients, communities, and prospects.  He was involved in providing industrial site selection and real estate location services for numerous companies such as Aisin Corporation, Hydro-Gear, Komatsu, Illinois Tool Works, Skyline Steel, and Treves, Inc.   

Prior to joining Agracel, Inc., Todd’s career began in local economic development positions in the Cities of Vandalia, IL and Pekin, IL.  Then, Todd held several different economic/industrial development positions in the utility industry with Central Illinois Public Service Company (CIPS) later named, Ameren Services. 

Todd has a B.A. in Political Science from Eastern Illinois University, is a licensed real estate broker, as well as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD), a member of the Illinois Economic Development Association and an associate member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.
