Paul is one of the founding members of BARBERMURPHY, which was established in 2004. Recognized as a sharp financial analyst with a keen sense of the Southern Illinois marketplace in which BARBERMURPHY primarily operates, Paul is at the forefront of commercial real estate investing in the region. His illustrious career in commercial real estate includes 13 years of experience in commercial lending and development strategies for a local banking institution, combined with more than two decades of direct commercial real estate experience.
Paul specializes in the marketing and disposition of investment and commercial properties throughout Southern Illinois, with an emphasis on the Southwestern Illinois and St. Louis Metro East markets. Born and raised in Southern Illinois, Paul has an in-depth knowledge of the region, giving him the ability to provide clients interested in buying or selling property in Southwestern Illinois with the most thorough and dynamic view of the market’s commercial real estate opportunities. This knowledge of the local market also translates into BARBERMURPHY clients getting the most efficient and fiscally responsible counsel during their real estate transactions.
Among Paul’s notable transactions is his role representing the seller and buyer in the sale transaction of a 66,300-square-foot apartment complex containing seven buildings with 78 units at Park Entrance in O'Fallon, Ill. He also represented the buyer in the purchase of a 52-unit apartment complex at Wisteria Lane in Swansea, Ill.
Paul resides in Millstadt, Illinois with his wife, Pam. He is an active member of the Ainad Shrine Temple of Southern Illinois.
