Scott specializes in business development and guiding clients through property assessment, land acquisition, and the construction process at BARBERMURPHY. He is also the owner of M4 Development, LLC, a local commercial construction consulting firm.

Scott graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 1999 with a B.S. in Construction Management from the School of Engineering. In 2008, he earned his LEED Accredited Professional designation through the U.S. Green Building Council.

With more than 25 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, Scott has played a key role in expanding real estate and construction services across private, government, and industrial sectors. His background as a project manager and director of design and construction services gives him a technical perspective on projects ranging from tilt-up construction and medical facilities to heavy industrial, multifamily, and small business developments.

Known for his innovative, solutions-driven approach, Scott has built long-term client relationships and become a strategic partner in redevelopment initiatives, municipal negotiations, TIFs, grants, business incentives, and redevelopment agreements.
