Steve Zuber serves as President and Principal of BARBERMURPHY, leading one of the region’s most respected independent commercial real estate firms while specializing in complex industrial real estate throughout Southern Illinois and the St. Louis region.

Since joining BARBERMURPHY at its founding in 2005, Steve has helped guide the company’s growth, expand regional market coverage, and strengthen its industrial brokerage platform through modern marketing, technology, and professional development initiatives.

With more than 500 completed transactions totaling over 23 million square feet and more than $275 million in volume, Steve is known for handling complex industrial assignments requiring strategic problem solving and operational expertise. His specialties include manufacturing facilities, rail and barge-served properties, cold storage, chemical and metal processing operations, redevelopment projects, and environmentally challenged sites.

Before commercial real estate, Steve worked in industrial equipment sales with Nordson Corporation, providing him with deep operational insight into manufacturing and industrial users. He remains actively involved in regional economic development and industrial growth initiatives throughout Southern Illinois and the St. Louis region.
